Wisconsin - State of the United States, located in the north central part of the country. The capital of the state is the city of Madison, the largest city - Milwaukee. The state is bordered by Minnesota to the west, Iowa to the southwest, Illinois to the south, Lake Michigan to the east, Michigan to the northeast, and Lake Superior to the north. Wisconsin occupies 23th place among the states in area and 20th place in terms of population. The territory of the state is divided into 72 districts.

Geography Wisconsin is quite diverse, Highlands and Western Upland, together with part of the Central Plains occupy the western part of the state, and the lowlands extend to the shores of lakes Michigan and Superior. Wisconsin is the second after the Michigan coastline along the length of the Great Lakes.

Wisconsin is known as America's dairy farm, as the state is one of the leading manufacturers of dairy products. Manufacturing and tourism are also important sectors of the state economy.
